Lead Quality Assurance

In an environment where reliability, security, and compliance are critical, our client is looking to strengthen its quality assurance practices with an individual capable of structuring, leading, and evolving software quality within development teams.

This role is for a senior professional who enjoys both QA strategy and hands-on work: leading a team, defining standards, improving testing practices, monitoring quality risks, and collaborating with IT, business, security, and compliance teams.

Key Responsibilities:

- Lead a team of manual and automated QA testers

- Define test strategy, QA standards, and best practices

- Design test plans, traceability matrices, and acceptance criteria

- Oversee functional, integration, regression, performance, and security testing

- Implement or improve UI, API, regression, and performance automation frameworks

- Ensure the quality of critical systems related to core banking, payments, risks, and fraud

- Collaborate with development, architecture, security, compliance, and business teams

- Communicate quality risks and progress to governance committees

Desired Profile:‍

- Senior experience in quality assurance, ideally in the banking or financial sector

- QA leadership or team management experience • Strong proficiency with tools like Jira/Xray, TestRail, or Zephyr

- Knowledge of REST/SOAP APIs, microservices, and relational databases

- Familiarity with cloud environments like AWS or Azure

- Knowledge of banking processes: payments, ISO 20022, SWIFT, credit, KYC/AML

- Excellent communication skills in French and English
