Business Development Manager – IT Consulting Services and Artificial Intelligence (AI)

Description

PlanAxion is seeking a motivated and results-driven Business Development Manager to lead the growth of our IT Consulting Service and our Artificial Intelligence (AI) product offering. This individual will play a key role in securing new mandates related to digital transformation, project management, cloud migration, and AI-based solutions.

Key Responsibilities

– Develop new business opportunities in the IT Consulting Services, including mandates in solution implementation, project management, architecture, cloud migration, and promote our AI-powered solutions.
– Act as a strategic advisor to clients navigating AI transformation, assisting them in defining needs, use cases, and technology roadmaps.
– Manage the full sales cycle: prospecting, needs analysis, proposal development, negotiation, and contract closing.
– Respond to RFPs and draft compelling value propositions for AI solutions.
– Build long-term relationships with key stakeholders among our business partners.
– Maintain and monitor the sales pipeline using a CRM (e.g., Hubspot) and generate reports on KPIs, forecasts, and conversion rates.
– Stay current with market trends in AI, IT, and consulting services; attend events and contribute to go-to-market strategies.

 

Required Qualifications

– Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field (MBA or AI/tech certification is an asset).
– Minimum of 5 years’ experience in business development or sales, ideally in IT consulting with AI or emerging technology mandates.
– Proven track record of closing deals in a B2B or enterprise environment.
– Ability to collaborate with both technical and non-technical stakeholders to design client-centric solutions.
– Bilingualism : English and French

Compensation and Benefits

Competitive base salary + commissions + performance bonuses
