PlanAxion is looking for an ERP selection and implementation consultant to support SMEs and mid-sized companies in evaluating, selecting, and implementing ERP solutions tailored to their financial, operational, and manufacturing needs. This position can be performed in a hybrid model in Quebec City or fully remotely from anywhere in Quebec.
About the role
You will act as a bridge between management teams, business users, and technology solution providers. We are looking for someone who understands both financial realities and complex manufacturing environments, specifically Engineer-to-Order (ETO), Make-to-Order (MTO), and Configure-to-Order (CTO).
Key responsibilities
ERP Selection
- Facilitate discovery and needs analysis workshops.
- Document current and future business processes.
- Identify operational, financial, and technological challenges.
- Develop specifications and evaluation criteria.
- Lead ERP request for information (RFI) and request for proposal (RFP) processes.
- Evaluate and compare various ERP solutions.
- Facilitate vendor demonstrations.
- Produce executive recommendations and comparative analyses.
Business Consulting
- Advise leadership on management best practices.
- Identify opportunities for process improvement.
- Support clients through their digital transformation.
- Develop business cases, including return on investment (ROI), total cost of ownership (TCO), and implementation costs.
Implementation and transformation
- Participate in implementation project planning.
- Support change management activities.
- Perform gap analysis.
- Contribute to the design of target processes.
- Track risks, issues, and decisions.
Manufacturing expertise
You should be comfortable with several of the following environments:
- Engineer-to-Order (ETO).
- Make-to-Order (MTO).
- Configure-to-Order (CTO).
- Discrete manufacturing.
- Manufacturing project management.
- Low-volume, high-complexity manufacturing.
Candidate profile
Training
- Bachelor’s degree in administration, accounting, industrial engineering, information systems, or a related field.
- CPA designation, PMP certification, or other relevant certification is an asset.
Experience
You have 5 to 15 years of relevant experience, particularly in at least one of the following contexts:
- ERP selection or implementation.
- Business transformation consulting.
- Key role in a manufacturing company.
