We are looking for a Supply Chain and Inventory Management Expert for a 9- to 12-month consulting assignment with a major Canadian distributor of electrical equipment (CAD 2 billion in revenue and more than 100 profit centres).
Assignment responsibilities
- Identify and document supply chain and inventory-management best practices suited to the organization's operating model.
- Identify performance improvement opportunities and inventory optimization levers.
- Review and improve procurement processes.
- Define appropriate inventory levels for each profit centre, taking operational and regional requirements into account.
Required experience and qualifications
- 10+ years of experience in supply chain, procurement and inventory management, ideally in distribution.
- Strong knowledge of supply chain processes, including S&OP, inventory management and strategic sourcing.
- Experience with ERP systems such as SAP, Oracle or an equivalent platform.
- Strong analytical skills and results orientation.
- French-English bilingualism is an asset.
