For the third consecutive year, PlanAxion was a proud sponsor of the 2022 Montreal Athletics Classic, where the country's top athletes gathered at the Claude-Robillard Sports Complex.
It is a true celebration of sport that we are very happy to be a part of. Once again this year, we sponsored the women's 100-metre hurdles.
Our contribution to this event reflects our desire to give back to our community through our various initiatives. We are proud to promote the practice of sports and to make them more accessible. Furthermore, this year, the Athletics Classic donated 50% of ticket sales to support Ukraine during these difficult times. Specifically, the event was supported by the Ukrainian Canadian Congress and the Saint-Sophie Ukrainian Orthodox Church of Montreal in this effort. Having helped a Ukrainian family ourselves, we can only applaud the kindness of the Classic's organizers and reiterate our commitment to getting involved.
As you may know, our partner Jean-François Oligny is an athletics enthusiast. It was therefore his honour to present the awards to the winners of the PlanAxion 100-metre hurdles.
